Piotr Tomaszuk

I was born on July 17th, 1961 in Białystok. In 1984 I graduated from the Department of
 Theatre Studies at The Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw. In 1984 I took up studies at the Department of Puppetry Direction at The Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw – branch in Białystok, from where I graduated in 1987. Between 1986 and 1989 I was employed in The Białystok Puppet Theatre as an assistant and afterwards as an independent director. There was also where I made my debut as an director of children’s shows “On Felix the Physician” and “Roll-a-Pea” to which screenplays I wrote by myself, and an adult performance “The Fox Hunt” by Sławomir Mrożek.

Rafał Gąsowski

An actor. I have learned at the Department of Acting at The Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw. I debuted in 1999 in the T. Łomnicki Wola Theatre in Warsaw in  „Memoirs of a Time of Immaturity” by W. Gombrowicz. Since 2000 I have been cooperating with the Theatre and Foundation Wierszalin. During 2000-03 I was employed by the Theatre Banialuka in Bielsko-Biała, and in 2004 in the Baj Pomorski Theatre in Toruń. Since 2006 I have been an permanent actor of the Wierszalin Theatre in Supraśl.

Katarzyna Siergiej

In 2005 I graduated from The Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw at the Department of Puppetry Art in Białystok..

In the same year I took part in the half-year international theater project organized by the Teatro Figura Europa in France and Germany, which was finished with the premiere of “Faites comme chez vous” in Austria.

Presently I am an actress of the Wierszalin Theatre, where I have played in the spectacles “The Sacrifice of Wilgefortis” and “God Nijinsky”.

This year I intend to finish studies at the University of Białystok at the faculty of English Philology.

Edyta Łukaszewicz-Lisowska

Edyta Łukaszewicz-Lisowska – an actress. I was born in Białystok. Graduated from The Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw,  Department of Puppetry Art in Białystok. Already during my studies I took part in the international project in Odin Teatret – Holstebro – Eugenio Barba’y, where the final effect was the W. Shakespeare’s spectacle “Romeo and Juliet”. While being at the third year of my studies, I began work in The Krzysztof Rau ¾ - Zusno Theatre, where I spent three seasons. The effect of our common work was inter alia spectacle “Gianni, Johan, Jan…..”. Another three seasons I worked in the Dramatic Theatre of Białystok (more important parts: Rózia in the Abramow’s spectacle “Geese Across The Water” directed by A. Jakmic, Justysia in A. Fredro’s spectacle “Husband and Wife” directed by A. Jakmic, Death in S. Mrożek’s spectacle “Widows” directed by A. Jakmic.)

Dariusz Matys

My parents and grandparents and everybody I remember come from Białostocczyzna, and therefore so do I. I decided to become an actor (whatever it means). I went to Kraków to learn from masters. They allowed me to call myself an actor. I played in Kraków theatres: Stu, Kto and W. Siemaszkowskiej in Rzeszów, and finally came back to my roots, and here I am.

Ewa Gajewska

I am the graduate of the Department Of Puppetry Art in Białystok and the European School of Media and Enterprise. Since the graduation (2004) I have been acting in the Kompania Doomsday, an independent theater group. At the same time I have been cooperating with the director Krzysztof Zemło and his Okno Theatre. With the Wierszalin Theatre I have been bound since 2006.

Karol Smaczny

I was born on July 12th, 1981.

2000-2004 – I studied at The Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw at the Department of Puppetry Art in Białystok.

2003-2006 – I was co-founder and a member of Akcja DZRT independent theater group

2004-2006 – I was co-founder and a member of Kompania Doomsday independent theater group

Since 2006 I have been acting as a guest in the A. Węgierka’s Dramatic Theatre of Białystok.

Since 2007 I have been an actor of Wierszalin Theatre in Supraśl.

Dariusz Zakrzewski

They call me Darek.

I was born in Łódź but life made my way towards the East. In 2007 I graduated from the Drama School in Białystok and suddenly appeared in the Wierszalin Theatre. I want to stay here, I’ve found my home.
